The new teaching building includes a Collection House at the main entrance to house a vast variety of plants and trees which has a two storey high glazed curtain wall to its entire length.
We provided cost management and CDM Advisor services for the development of a new teaching and education building.
Within the main reception there is a hydroponic wall for plants to grow. The remainder of the ground floor includes a STEM / Innovation Centre, three offices and a Learning Resource Centre (LRC). The first floor has an Entrepreneurial Zone, three further offices, a study centre and three classroom learning rooms.
The overall building is of c.1,900m² floor area constructed from a steel frame with a steel composite concrete upper floor and has an aluminium standing seam roof.
