The Imperial Building is located in the heart of the CBD on Lichfield Street and is the current home of TSA Riley’s Christchurch office.
TSA Riley project managed the revitalisation of the Imperial Building. The project was completed within 12 months and included a full resource consent for a new façade and two associated food and beverage pavilions in the car park. The project involved a complete strip out of the building back to a bare super structure. The building was then seismically strengthened to 100% NBS.
The building now has a new modern façade, new services and lift, with the addition of a large exterior mural by local Christchurch artist Anton Mogridge.
