ProjectMt Maunganui Depot Improvement Project

KiwiRail is undertaking a programme of upgrades to their mechanical facilities throughout New Zealand, used by the Rolling Stock Asset Services (RSAS) business unit to maintain and service KiwiRail’s rolling stock fleets. Improving the mechanical facilities will maximise the benefits of new rolling stock procurement programmes with more standardised fleets, while providing RSAS with fit for purpose mechanical facilities to maintain and service current and future rolling stock fleets. Integral to this will be the provision of buildings compliant with building code and regulation.

TSA Riley has been providing project management services on the Mount Maunganui Depot Improvement Project, where the scope encompasses the replacement of the existing locomotive servicing facility with a new purpose-built servicing that will act as a one-stop shop where RSAS can safely carry out their full locomotive servicing checks and repairs.
