ProjectManchester Regional Operation Centre

TSA Riley provided project management services on this state-of-the-art rail operating centre located in Manchester. It is one of 12 that will eventually control large parts of the railway, replacing more than 800 signal boxes and other operational locations currently used to control trains.

The three-storey building provides operational, administrative, training, and accommodation for staff facilities. The gross internal floor area of the building is 6,895m2, including a roof-level plant room and storage area. The building operates 24/7 and accommodates up to 180 staff working in shifts.
