Project24-Hour Echuca Police Station
TSA Riley supported Victoria Police’s internal project director in managing the delivery of a new 24-Hour Echuca Police Station from concept to completion.
The station, located on a greenfield site, replaced the nearly 50-year-old facility that had become inadequate for the needs of the local police force. This modern, two-storey building now operates around the clock, offering a 24-hour counter service to Echuca’s 14,000 residents. It features purpose-built offices designed to accommodate up to 95 staff members, providing them with a functional, modern, and flexible working environment.
The station includes a custom-built custody suite with interview rooms and an accessible community entrance. It also houses specialised units that deal with criminal investigations, prosecutions, and proactive programs. The building has modern amenities, including a newly equipped gymnasium and changing rooms.
TSA Riley’s responsibilities included developing the project management plan, managing design, scope, and value, overseeing procurement, time, and cost management, handling project communications, environmental management planning, providing superintendency services, and managing completion and post-occupancy.
