About the Role
TSA Riley boasts a large and diverse portfolio of projects spanning multiple sectors across New Zealand & Australia. Currently, we are leading some of the largest health-related projects in the Asia Pacific region, with a robust pipeline of upcoming opportunities across New Zealand’s North and South Islands. As a result, we are looking for ambitious, proactive, pragmatic, and collaborative Project Managers, Senior Project Managers, and Project Directors to join our client-side team in Wellington.
 
 About You
  • A tertiary qualification in architecture, engineering, or project management is preferred.
  • At least 4+ years of experience managing projects in the built environment, with a minimum of 2 years specifically in health projects.
  • A true team player who thrives in a collaborative project delivery environment and fosters a shared team culture to deliver results.
  • Open to travel for projects across regional New Zealand, if required.
  • Capable of leading project meetings with contractors, consultants, and clients on projects up to $50M.
  • Senior candidates to demonstrate:
    • Strong understanding of construction contracts, project delivery frameworks, property feasibility, and key metrics
    • Demonstrated ability to successfully negotiate and resolve high-value disputes, while maintaining integrity, professionalism, and strong relationships.
    • Skills in client management, with the ability to cultivate lasting relationships and transform existing engagements into repeat business opportunities.
  • Knowledge and experience with NZS3910 & NZS3916 contracts.
    • Senior candidates to show examples of Acting as Engineer’s Representative or Engineer to Contract.
  • Preferred individuals should have familiarity and a passion for some of the following:
    • Building services and commissioning.
    • Installation of complex medical equipment (MRI, CT scans, X-rays, Theatre Pendants, etc.).
    • Working in live environments with multiple stakeholders.
    • Strengths in establishing, implementing, and monitoring project controls.
    • Design-and-construct procurement methodologies.
