TSA Riley New Zealand is seeking a dynamic and professional Consultant to join our growing infrastructure advisory business. In this role, you will help clients solve complex challenges, create value, and contribute to internal initiatives that drive our success.
You will work on a range of infrastructure projects, advising large asset-intensive and infrastructure-owning organisations, primarily in the public sector. Our teams support projects and programs across their full lifecycle, with a particular focus on:
You are a critical thinker and problem solver who thrives in a fast-paced environment. With 2+ years of experience in infrastructure advisory, consulting, project management, or a related field, you have a strong understanding of New Zealand’s infrastructure landscape, policies, and regulatory environment.
Your ability to listen, communicate, and collaborate makes you a trusted advisor to clients and stakeholders. You enjoy working with multidisciplinary teams, navigating complex government processes, and delivering clear, accurate, and engaging written and visual content.

- Business case development
- Procurement and contract management
- Construction and delivery assurance
You are a critical thinker and problem solver who thrives in a fast-paced environment. With 2+ years of experience in infrastructure advisory, consulting, project management, or a related field, you have a strong understanding of New Zealand’s infrastructure landscape, policies, and regulatory environment.
Your ability to listen, communicate, and collaborate makes you a trusted advisor to clients and stakeholders. You enjoy working with multidisciplinary teams, navigating complex government processes, and delivering clear, accurate, and engaging written and visual content.
Key skills and attributes:
- A degree in economics, business, finance, law or engineering (preferred)
- Experience working in or advising large infrastructure, utility, or public sector organisations
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking abilities
- Proficiency in economic and/or financial analysis
- Excellent time management and ability to work at a brisk pace
- Passion for building relationships and networking within the industry
- Active participation in industry associations and professional networks (advantageous)
