Below is a selection of recent projects in which we have provided project consulting expertise in assessing project change (both time and quantum), preparation of claims for extension of time and loss and expense, Expert Witness (Quantum and Delay) and dispute management.

Anaerobic Digestion and Gas Fired Power Plant, Lincolnshire
A TSA Riley expert was appointed by counsel as Quantum Expert to provide opinion in Adjudication on the cost of rectification of storage cells and loss of profit due to defective design causing the constructed cells to structurally fail and consequently loss of power production.

TSA Riley was instructed as Quantum Expert to give opinion on value of variations and additional costs to the Civil Engineering and Building works for a 25MW power facility.
Hinkley Point C Nuclear Power Plant, Somerset
TSA Riley was instructed as Quantum Expert to give opinion on value of a significant change to the design of an aspect of the infrastructure work resulting in additional time and costs.
Galloper Windfarm, On-Shore Substation Building & Civils Works, Suffolk
TSA Riley was appointed to support the contractor’s team in the final account stage of the project. Two team members were seconded full-time to assist with the change management process, in particular preparation of quotations for both time and money. TSA Riley also produced claims for extension of time and loss and expense under the bespoke FIDIC contract. We worked with the legal team preparing substantiation and narratives of quantum and delay for adjudication which resulted in a successful outcome. The final account and claim value were 173% higher than the contract price due to the significant increase in scope and other delay events.
