ProjectCoomera Hospital (Capital Expansion Program)

The New Coomera Hospital is a $1.3 billion investment to deliver a proposed 72,000 m2, 10-storey hospital with capacity for 404 beds in Coomera, Queensland as part of the $9.78 billion additional funding over six years for the Capacity Expansion Program.

The scope of works involves developing the current marginal bushland site and working with the project stakeholders to deliver an operational hospital campus in late 2027.

TSA Riley has been engaged to provide project management services, which includes Principal’s Representative, Site Representative, communications design management and program management services from the appointment of the managing contractor through to completion.

The detailed scope of works carried out by the project team includes:

• finalisation of statutory planning approvals
• negotiations with adjacent landholders and environmental stakeholders
• finalisation of the functional design brief
• RAID risk management and management of change through the user group consultation process
• program monitoring and management including preparation of dashboard for internal governance reporting
• administration of the managing contractor instrument of agreement
• negotiation of variations and assessment of progress claims.

TSA Riley has also encouraged a collaborative work environment through a combined project teams workshop.
