How it works

Once the Open Carbon Service Pack is invoiced and paid in full, we can immediately begin providing consulting services as and when you need them.	We’ll keep track of your hour usage and notify you when you’ve reached 15 hours, so you can plan the remainder of your time effectively.	If you need additional support, you can roll into a new service pack with a 5% discount, maintaining uninterrupted access to our expert consultancy.

• Development application (DA) / concept strategy workshop

  Get a face-to-face project carbon strategy workshop where our team will review your project, provide high-level carbon benchmarks based on the asset class, and provide tailored insights. This includes pre-work, 2-hour workshop, insights report and post workshop follow-up.

  Recommended allocation: 10 hours

• In-house building evaluation training session*

  Gain hands-on training using our FootprintCalculator™ and / or GreenBook™ platforms for one of your projects. We’ll guide you through setup, provide pre-work instructions, and deliver a half- or full-day session, combining presentations and practical exercises. By the end, your team will have the skills to assess carbon performance at an early concept stage, model alternatives and publish compliant reports. Ideal inputs include basic geometry or quantities from Revit, SketchUp, or a QS budget.

  Recommended allocation: 15 hours
  *Available only to subscribers of the FootprintCalculator / GreenBook platform

• Upfront carbon assessment (post facto)

  Receive an upfront carbon assessment of your project, including impact driver analysis, alternative option modelling, and a detailed report comparing your results to similar projects. We’ll also present and discuss the findings with you in person. Access to DA-level design documents and a QS cost plan are required.
